Our accredited PDC course is designed to empower you to create regenerative systems in your own life and community. We aim to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of permaculture principles, ethics and practises. We will cover the 72 hour PDC syllabus integrating permaculture systems, practical work and permaculture design, sharing many examples of working permaculture systems.

Introduction to Permaculture
In this course, we will give you an introduction into permaculture. You will learn the history of permaculture, why permaculture is so important at this time in history, its ethics and principles, and how we integrate it using different learning strategies into all aspects of our lives.

We will give you three simple steps to get started with permaculture.

Then we will delve deeper into the wilderness, as we look at the importance and benefits of wildlife and what it has to teach us.

Permaculture Design Methodology Course

We will fully explore all aspects and methods of permaculture design. From design processes to design tools, From system thinking to system functions. We will go through all the permaculture design principles and expand on the knowledge gained from the Introduction to Permaculture course.
We will be taking you through each step of the design process, from observation all the way to implementation.
In this course, we will also cover such permaculture design tools such as: random assembly, output/input analysis sectors and zones and much more, This all comes together to make our designs efficiently interconnected and our efforts to the maximum beneficial effects. How to turn our impact on the earth from negative to positive, from destructive to regenerative as we rediscover our place of harmony with nature.

Permaculture Living Water

Mulch more and water less, increase your organic humus layer by just 2% is equal to 80% less watering needs ”

In this course we will cover:

  • Living Water & Wise Water Living

  • Swales / dry compost toilets

  • Black and grey water treatment solutions

  • Hydrology/ rainwater harvesting in and on the land / passive and active irrigation

  • Aquaculture / aquaponics

We will also be looking at earthworks, swales, surveying contour lines and finding water sources on the land.

Accommodation Options    

If you are interested in staying during your course, there are lots of options available here on the Rame Peninsula.  Whatever your budget we can offer you accommodation, homestays, camping or staying in a caravan. We can give prices for all of the above when you email us about the the dates you prefer to join the PDC Permaculture Design Course.
